- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in one of the following: cloud migration, data-center migration, disaster recovery, virtualization, application/servers assessment and discovery.
- Experience leading IT strategy discussion and design cloud adoption plans.
- Experience working with different databases (SQL, NoSQL, etc).
- Good Understanding of network connectivity between cloud providers and on-prem – VPN, Interconnect, Cloud Routers, firewalls etc
- Ability to learn/work with emerging technologies and solutions on the cloud.
- Experience with developing scalable architectures using API management, microservice frameworks (i.e. Spring Cloud, Istio), container orchestration systems (i.e. Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Docker), networking concepts including: routing, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Experience with deployment methodologies and technologies (e.g., CI/CD, Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
- Knowledge of VMware technology stack (e.g., vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, etc.)
- Basic understanding of Cloud Security parameters – Web application firewalls, NGFW, Endpoint security, Zero Trust frameworks, SIEM, SOAR services etc.
- Certification – AWS or Azure or GCP Architect
